Want to wear The Avett Brothers’ shirt collection from Rockmount Ranch Wear?

The Avett Brothers have collaborated with Rockmount Ranch Wear for their own shirt collection.

Legendary Rockmount Ranch Wear, the western clothing outfitter in Denver, is a common stop for musicians coming through town. Robert Plant, the Arctic Monkeys, Sam Smith — they’ve all been recent shoppers at Rockmount.

But the Avett Brothers, who always shop at Rockmount before their annual Red Rocks shows, are now more than just regulars. The band has collaborated with Rockmount to design an Avett Brothers collection.

Rockmount has only done this with about 15 artists to date (and considering they’re a three generation business that has been visited by scores of musicians, it’s a pretty rare thing).

“They know Rockmount they come to Rockmount when they’re in town. They gave us a call and said ‘do you want to design a shirt?’ And we said ‘yes.'” said president Steve Weil. “We love working with creative people because it validates the art that we do.”

Available in two designs for men and one design for women, the shirts will be sold at the Avett Brothers’ three-night Red Rocks run on July 10-12. And the Avett Brothers themselves will be at Rockmount while they’re in town to celebrate the release, Weil tells us.

Rockmount Ranch Wear is known for introducing the first western shirts with snaps and the bolo tie.
