We like Pulp Fiction as much as the next guy, but Urban Cowboy affected world fashion. Jack B. Weil designed John Travolta's vintage red satin shirt and green shirt with white piping. The film had a profound effect popularizing Western fashion. It marked the first time the Western genre went to Main Street, first nationally, and then internationally, where it has remained in fashion ever since.
