John Fogerty

John Fogerty is the man! The master of Swamp Rock has worn Rockmount since his electrifying days fronting the great Creedence Clearwater Revival. He is shown on the left in the late 60s shredding onstage in a solid black Rockmount. Below with his CCR bandmates during one of their many appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. In the early 70s, Fogerty briefly continued fronting CCR as a trio until they officially disbanded in 1972 after recording their seventh and final studio album Mardi Gras. He is shown below onstage during this period in a vintage Rockmount solid. Fogerty embarked on a successful solo career beginning immediately after CCR. For decades, his songs have contributed immensely to the Great American Songbook. He is shown below on the cover of his self-titled 1975 studio album in a vintage Rockmount plaid. Fogerty continues to wear Rockmount for many of his performances and appearances. Fogerty shops in our flagship LoDo store. Prior to a concert in Denver, one time he came in and picked a shirt in our museum — unfortunately, it was not for sale, but he has great taste! He is shown below performing at Fenway Park in a blue Rockmount shadow plaid.
