Take garment in closed position and mark location for snap.

Put prong on flat surface points up.

Place bottom half of garment over prong and push pencil eraser against fabric until prongs are forced through completely.

Place stud over exposed prongs which fit into the stud grove.

Place tool directly over stud (tool fits exactly into nub of stud) and strike several times until both parts are firmly secured. The eraser head of a pencil or flat head bolt can be substituted for the tool).

Repeat on other side of your garment with socket and snap.
